Brenton     Brand Manager               I started with By Caprice back in Feb 2007, soon after the Brand’s UK launch. It was great starting at such an early phase of the company and being able to learn and grow as everyone else did. Since then the company has pretty much doubled in size from season to season, so it’s been exciting to be part of such a success from it’s very early beginnings.         I moved from New Zealand in 1995 and started my UK career working for the likes of Envy and Retail Giant, Topman before moving away from clothing and fashion and to work for Retailers such as Borders and Virgin. Working my way up from the shopfloor, through to head office, working in Buying, Marketing, and Merchandising. I was working for a Film company when our paths crossed and Caprice approached me to work for her and almost 4 years later and I am still here.         It’s incredibly rewarding to work with a small, dedicated team who all work so hard and are passionate about the brand. I’m in a very fortunate position that because of the size of the company and the fact I started in the early days, I am involved in and help drive/manage every process from concept and design, factory production, through to managing our accounts and sales.         No two days are ever the same, and I love the variety the job offers and the people I am fortunate enough to work with. It’s been great to learn from each season’s successes and failures, and apply what you have learnt and pour that into the next season, it’s what helps keep the job fresh and all of us so passionate and motivated about what we do.       previous page
